Queer California Psychotherapist & Career Coach
Hi, I'm KK! As a therapist and coach my style is warm and down to earth, personable yet direct, and is especially helpful for clients who may be anxious about seeking support, or who may have had negative mental health experiences in the past. I often use humor and playfulness in relationship with clients because it is a beautiful and non threatening way to grow closer and build trust. I have experience working with clients with a variety of life challenges and from many different gender and cultural identities. I work from a neuroaffirmative, health-at-every-size, sex-positive, and gender affirming perspective. In session, I offer both space for deep reflection and tangible skills for navigating life more successfully.

On a personal note
I hold an MA in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute. Before becoming a therapist I was in the tech and publishing industries for over 15 years and held many roles including Vice President of Sales, Director of Marketing as well as product marketing and sales roles. Although I was successful in many of these roles, I found that I was most interested in listening to people and helping them to reach their goals, which is why I left tech and embraced my true calling as a therapist and career coach. My partner and I live in the East Bay with our two rescue greyhounds named Trixie and Katya. In my free time I love to play drums, write music and karoake.
