Teens & young adults face pressures and challenges that parents often struggle to understand or relate to

From the dire state of the world, to the pressure to fit in with peers, to the stress of academic performance, teens are feeling more stressed and anxious than ever. The rise of social media and technology has introduced a new and deeper sense of community for teens, but it has also introduced new challenges like cyberbullying and screen and game addiction. But teens today are also resilient and smart. They know that there is no shame in seeking mental health support. In fact, they are often the ones to seek it out when they need help.

I have years of experience helping teens through the hardest parts of their lives. Because I don't "look like" other therapists (and because I have an authentic and relaxed style) teens often open up to me in ways they might not with other adults
